RaceChip does not present fuel saving as magic. With a calmer driving style, extra mid-range torque allows earlier upshifts and less high-RPM driving.

03 / Tuning box vs. remapping

A reversible module instead of a permanent ECU write.

RaceChip is an external tuning box inserted into the vehicle wiring. Remapping changes the ECU file. The difference matters for installation, reset, servicing and later fine tuning.

04 / Function & installation

Plug & Drive, with no wire cutting.

RaceChip connects between sensors and ECU through OEM connectors. The module reads signals, optimizes them in real time and relays them onward while the manufacturer ECU keeps control.

Instructions are tied to the exact model and engine.
Typical installation takes around 10-15 minutes.
The system is reversible and does not require a permanent ECU flash.

01Open the bonnet and remove the engine cover if access requires it.
02Locate the relevant connectors using engine-specific instructions.
03Connect the RaceChip wiring harness to the sensors and module.
04Secure the cable and module in a safe position in the engine bay.
05Check the installation, close the bonnet and test drive.
