RaceChip is designed to operate within the manufacturer's safety tolerances. Our modules can be removed without a trace, restoring the vehicle to its stock state. While we cannot speak for every dealer, tens of thousands of customers have used RaceChip without warranty issues. We also offer our own product liability insurance for additional peace of mind.

Yes. Simply remove the RaceChip module and reconnect the original OEM connector. The vehicle's ECU will return to factory parameters immediately. No software changes are made to the ECU itself — all tuning happens via the external module.

Absolutely. RaceChip works with all gearbox types: manual, automatic (torque converter), dual-clutch (DSG/PDK/DCT), and CVT. The module optimises engine output signals, which the gearbox ECU adapts to automatically within its normal operating parameters.

Most installations take between 10 and 15 minutes. The module connects via plug-and-play connectors — no cutting, soldering, or special tools required. Each order includes a vehicle-specific installation guide with photos.
